Jeria “Ace” Arthur, from Conyers, GA, is the mother of two, a professional women’s football player and gym owner. Her daughter, Jayah, and son, Jayce, are a huge inspiration for this book series and the children in the stories!
Ace owns a health and wellness building called ACEquarters, where her brand, Ace Athletics, is housed and where she trains her clients to live healthier lifestyles and athletes to perform at their highest level. ACEquarters also houses other wellness practitioners who offer massage therapy, eyebrow microblading, hair styling, and braiding. Events and workshops are offered at ACEquarters frequently.
The WFLA, the first women’s football league that will pay its players, will make its debut in early 2022! Although this very feminine woman doesn’t look like a football player, Ace plays wide receiver and running back for the Atlanta Amazons! She is committed to being the best version of herself and inspires others to do the same… and for “Ace,” that includes professional football.
When asked how she got into football, Jeria said, “I grew up playing football with my brother, who was an amazing football player… we would play against other kids in the neighborhood. When I was in 6th grade, I brought a permission slip home to my parents to sign off, permitting me to play middle school football.

My dad refused to sign it because he ‘didn’t want his baby girl getting tackled by boys.’ “Ever since then, I have loved the game; I always wanted to play. I learned about the WFLA and sent in video footage of me playing and doing drills. The next day the CEO and owner of the league called me, offering me a spot on the team. I’m so excited to be part of this historic time in women’s athletics for myself and for all those who will play in the future!”
She believes that everyone has a purpose and encourages others to walk in that purpose, no matter what it is. Find yours and live it out… make a difference and encourage others to do the same!
Jeria lives by the phrase, “There is no limit to what you can achieve.” She says, “If you can see it in your mind, then you will hold it in your hand!” Through her Girls Play Football book series, Jeria aims to uplift, inspire and encourage little girls and young women to walk out their purpose and live their dreams.
Keep striving to be your very best!
